Please understand that we do request a credit card to reserve your reservation.
We understand, “Life Happens.” When you do need to cancel or reschedule please call us within 24 hours of your scheduled reservation. We will be happy to accommodate you. Please note that if you do not cancel with 24 hours and we are unable to serve another guest in that reserved time, slot we will charge your card for the amount of your service.
Unfortunately parking can be issue in the Union Station neighborhood downtown. Usually you can find metered parking on the street. You may have to circle a couple of times. Please remember to put enough time (up to two hours) on the meter so you don’t get a ticket. There are also parking lots available and you can valet park at Union Station or The Oxford Hotel.
Also, during Rockies games, lot pricing increases and during warmer months there are often events that can snarl traffic and make life miserable. Otherwise it’s easy to get here and park.
Our service providers work on a level system and their prices vary. While all of our staff are talented professionals, some of our barber stylists have more experience, more training and are more in-demand.
Common courtesy and respect applies in the lounge. We do not have services that are not on the menu. We respectfully request appropriate language and conversational topics. At no time, do we condone inappropriate behavior.
Tips, Barbers & Booze
How much should I tip?
Gratuities are completely discretionary and always appreciated by our staff. Most of our guests tip 15% to 20%. You can tip the service provider in cash, leave it with the guest concierge or include it on your credit card.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa and American Express. Presently we are not set up for Apple, Google or Samsung Pay.
What if I don’t what to see the same person again?
We encourage all of our guests to see different stylists. This way you are comfortable with more than one person and you have more scheduling options.
I want to rebook with the stylist I saw last time, but I can’t remember her name.
Not a problem. We keep your complete history on file. Just call us up and we can look you up.
Can I date my stylist?
We would prefer that you didn’t.
Are there happy endings?
No and if you ask, we will ask you to leave.
What if I am unhappy with a service or product?
We stand behind every service and every product that we sell. It’s simple. If you’re not happy you don’t pay.

Why do your Guest Concierges ask for my credit card number when I make a reservation?
Fortunately, our Lounge is usually busy and we are often fully committed. There are a few individuals who will make a reservation and then not show up for their service. This deprives the overwhelming majority of our great guests the opportunity to get in and diminishes the earning ability of our service providers.
How far in advance should I make a reservation?
Although we do welcome walk-ins throughout the day, we often get booked up. We recommend calling the day before or early in the day to ensure a reservation time that works best for you.
When should I arrive for my reservation?
We like to see you arrive about 10 to 15 minutes prior to your reservation. This gives you a little extra time so you can relax, have a beverage and get settled in.
Are the beverages complimentary?
Absolutely. We have a Tavern Liquor License and all drinks are complementary. We proudly serve a variety of craft beers and top shelf distilled spirits and cocktails. And yes, we check all ID’s.
Can you call me a cab?
Of course. And we are happy to make dinner reservations, check on flights and anything else to make your life easier and day better.

Notes, Kids, Dogs & Some Basics
What do they write on the work tickets?
We write technical notes so that the next service provider knows exactly what to do and we like to record your preferences so that we can know and serve you better!
Do you ever disclose my information to third parties?
Absolutely not. Your information is kept strictly confidential and is never rented, sold or in any way disclosed to outside parties.
What information do you keep about me?
Your contact information, service history and product purchases and technical notes. And the name of your dog.
How secure is the information about me on file?
We are PCI Compliant so your credit card information is secure and we have a sonic firewall to keep out intruders and hackers.
Do I have to make a reservation?
No, we accept walk-ins. But it avoids the chance that you might have to wait or be turned away if we are busy.
What do I do if I am running late?
Please call so we can make arrangements and do our best to accommodate you.
Can I bring in my dog?
No. Because we have a liquor license we are regulated by the food department and they won’t allow it.
Can I bring in my kids?
Yes. If they are well behaved. And the little ones get a Hot Wheels.
I need to reschedule my resesrvation. What should I do?
Call or email us! We are happy to change or reschedule your reservation.
What is the difference between a performance haircut and a two-week haircut?
A performance haircut is our standard service; including a five-minute neck and shoulder massage, shampoo, style, and straight razor shave on your neck. We offer a discount if you come in every two weeks, but you need to book it in advance!
Why are there different prices for haircuts?
Our haircut prices are based on the level and experience of our barber stylists. Those whose experience, training, skill and demand have earned them promotions command higher prices.
Points & Rewards, Shaves & Women
How do the points work?
We have a Loyalty Program that rewards you for spending your hard earned money with us. Basically you get a point for every dollar you spend and two points for every dollar you spend on products. Plus, if you reserve your next service before you leave you get a 1,000 points, refer a friend get 5,000 points and so on. It adds up and when you accumulate 50,000 points you’ve got $50.00 to spend on products or services.
What are your membership/package options?
We offer a monthly membership for $59. It will bill you early in the month and put two haircuts on your account. As an added bonus, you will automatically receive a 10% discount on retail purchase and a 15% discount on additional services! Memberships will continue to bill out for 12 months with the option to renew. We also offer package discounts on massages, spa packages, and haircuts. Call our front desk for more information.
Can I shave the same day as my wedding/event?
We understand getting a hot lather shave is a fun and relaxing way to spend your wedding day morning with your groomsmen. However, it’s possible to get irritation after a shave. We recommend getting your shaves a day before the event to give your skin some time to calm down.
Do you service women for hair or spa services?
We welcome your wives and girlfriends into our Lounge for services. However, we do not carry products for women (styling products, nail polish, etc.) We suggest booking her a facial while she waits for you!

Products, Gift Certificates & Reminders
What products do you carry?
We carry a complete range of mens grooming products including top flight brands such as Aveda, Art of Shaving, Jack Black, Mediceuticals, Kevin Murphy, Reuzel and V76 by Vaughn. Please see our Products page for more information.
How can I purchase a gift certificate?
You can purchase a gift certificate in a number of ways. You can purchase one through on our website and print or email a custom gift certificate to your recipient. You are also welcome to stop by in person for a standard “Homme Improvement” gift card in any amount you like.
Do you reward your clients for referrals?
Yes. We offer a $15 discount for all first-time guests you refer to us. In addition, we will credit your account $15 as a thank you. We appreciate referrals and so does your barber!
Will you remind me about my reservation?
Based on the information you provide to the front desk, you will receive an reservation reminder by email and text message 24 hours prior to confirm your reservation. If we do not see your reservation as confirmed the day before, we will reach out to by phone. You can confirm your reservation at any point throughout this process.
